About

This set of stencils helps artists draw various curves and patterns before painting mandalas. The shapes of the stencils are based on the practice of a painter who originally had stencils made of hard paper. But paper stencils wore out quickly, while these 3D printed stencils are much more durable.

The stencils have a marked axis in the middle and a small handle for better manipulation when drawing. The thickness of the stencils is suitable for pencil drawing.

I offer this model for free download on this page below or on the Cults website. The original project from the RS DesignSpark Mechanical editor is also available for download on this page.

Progress

For such a small model, the procedure is quite fast.

100%
First draft in the 3D editor
Test print of the model
Clarification of the dimensions
Editing the design in the 3D editor
Final print of the model

The template for the templates was a drawing of a painter on paper. This drawing was scanned and inserted into the 3D editor as a surface. Surfaces above the background were created using curves. After adding thickness, axis lines and handles were added for better manipulation.

This model is not yet related to any other project, software or hardware.

Print

With such a small object, printing is without problems.

Material PLA
Quality 0.2 mm
